BUSY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, Christmas, my favorite time of the year!  Abbigail is busy cutting out paper dolls, making stockings, and cooking me delicious treats.  Meanwhile, I'm decorating like a crazed lunatic, illustrating my very first children's book, cutting out wooden owls, and addressing tons of Christmas letters (with a little help from my favorite book of typology inspiration, "The Father Christmas Letters" by J.R.R. Tolkien) for friends and family.  Above are a few of our favorites.

New Stockings!

I made three more stockings! They are turning out better and better! I am very proud. They would definently be lacking, if it weren't for Billy Joe's help, the Bah Humbug one is for him. He loves it, but he wants to keep all of them. Too bad, we gotta make that dough!!

Makin' things and gettin' presents!

Billy Joe and I have been very very busy making things! He has made tons of posters and paper dolls! Together we came up with the idea for the Kitty Cat pins, and we revamped an old design of mine to start cranking out these dinosaur stockings!
Billy Joe also made me a super cool drawing as an very early birthday present. I love it! Dr. Teeth is always the jam!  We are excited and hesitant about the new Muppet movie. I hope it's good!
I am so pumped about the next two months! We have already had Billy's birthday and Halloween, both of those holidays were not as great as we wished (no money!), so we have to make it up at Christmas and Thanksgiving! Hopefully, all our new things will sell and we will buy each other mink coats!

Shoppin'

These are some of our purchases from this trip. We bought a lot of things to sale, but these are just for us. Aren't you so jealous?!

Family Time

We are at my far away family's house, living it up! My sister is kind enough to model our latest vintage wares for us.  She is a beauty baby and hilarious! The outtakes from these photos  are going in the family photo album to show her future boyfriends. Oooh la la. My mama has been a gracious host to us tornado-ing up the house.   She is awesome and makes good food, which I can't eat because I have contracted some kind of bug.....the toilet is my best friend these days, but Billy is taking full advantage of my small appetite by eating my share. GREAT JOB.
We have also had great shopping in our small metropolis, lots of great vintage and weirdie goods. Posting of that goodness will happen soon!

Honest Abe....Wowzers!!

This is Billy's latest painting, and it has been a long time coming!  Sometimes, it's really hard for him to get started on a piece, whether he is intimidated by the project or has lost interest in it because we couldn't get supplies. It took him a long time to get started on it, and an even longer time to finish it. There is apparently something magical about my Mama's house because every time we come here he buckles down and finishes any project he has been doubtful about doing. We are both so happy it is finished and pleased with the results!!!

R.I.P. Suity

This is an old suitcase that I made into a postcard display for festivals.  I left it out in the rain not long ago and kinda ruined it, wah!

Star Spangled Space!

Billy made a new blog design for us!! It's terrific! Up above is one of the designs that wouldn't work with the blog, but it is still awesome! I hope we can use it for something else.
We had an wonderful time at the Black Feather Cafe in Berea this past Saturday.  The Spoonbread festival was very nearby, so there were people everywhere, it was very very fun!
My best lady, Lee(anna) and Billy's friend Derek were in attendance with us, which made it special and extra fun. It was interesting to see everyone's unique selling strategies!

The Magical Mystical Butt Munch

Hello. This is Billy's latest thing that he has done to avoid doing the projects he needs to do. At least his procrastination is awesome. This is actually a picture he started about a year and a half ago, so it's nice to see something finally come from it.
This weekend is going to be insane! Tomorrow I am having my 25 cent yard sale and my best friend, Leanna is coming down for a visit! It is going to be amazin'!!! Saturday is the Spoonbread festival in Berea and we are going to the fantastic Black Feather Cafe to sell our wares! I am hoping it will be so busy that we make our rent there! Dreams can come true!!!!

Tay's Mache Horrors Logo

This is a logo I made for my awesome niece Seante last night.  She makes tons of cool paper mache props for haunted houses.  I think she has a really bright future, and I'm very proud of her for sticking with her dream for so long.

Toys!

I've (Billy) been really into the idea of making toys ever since I was a kiddo, but never really attempted it before.  But after being mega inspired by a bunch of Kid Robot toys and the Fantastic Mister Arbito, I finally got crackin! So meet "Nasty Nimbus".  He's made of Sculpy clay right now, but eventually I'd like to have a small run of like 30 or so made in resin.  I also plan on making a whole family of hillbillys.  Here are "Kernal Cletus McCoy" and his makeshift tank in "Hillbilly Blitzkrieg", and "Rita May -N- Rascal" a simple country girl and her faithful possum friend.

Hanna B!

This is a painting that Billy did for my friend, Brittani, of her dog, Hanna B. Usually, Billy works at our apartment or my dad's house, but we had a whole different locale for this project. We have been visiting my mama, so we had many eyes on this one. I think my brother and sister really enjoyed watching it come together.  Everybody thought it was awesome, especially the recipient!

Show and Tell Time!

This is my (Billy) prize trading card collection.  I don't have very many cards really.  They probably aren't worth much, if anything, but I do cherish them. Each and every one!  I have everything from Alf and The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to my childhood heroes Hulk Hogan and Vanilla Ice!  They always make me happy and remind me of my true kid self!  Still, my collection has room for my homie PeeWee Herman and his magical Puppetland friends whom I am always on the lookout for.  But hey, my birthday is just around the corner, hint hint!

A day to remember

Today was a great day!  Abbigail and I went dumpster diving and found a bunch of awesome stuff:  a portable dvd player, a set of Bose earphones, some bottles of cleaning products, a book of postage stamps, and a bunch of dvd's including "Click" which we just cried our eyes out to.  We made terrariums out of some old jars and some moss covered rocks that we found behind the courthouse. Annnndd, we spent some much needed time outside riding bikes! I made Abbigail watch as I showed off for her, standing up with my arms spread wide, while going like a bazillion mph down the hill of death!  Sometimes I wish I had all of the things that I don't, but right now, I love my life.  Just the way it is.

One last KY card!

This is Billy's amazing Leaf Man costume that he made for our would-be children's show a millennia ago.  We figured it was way too creepy after giving it a Trick-or-Treat run last year. The non plant person is my dad's neighbor Mrs. Hall, she was a super good sport while we were running around looking like freaky-doos.  She's doing a great job at maintaining her elderness while remaining non-crotchety!
